Second Life is the leading online virtual reality site in the world with over 6.5 million registered users worldwide and nearly 1 million logging on every month. It's big, it's interactive, it's worldwide and it's growing FAST. The site may be virtual but the people are real.

This presentation will introduce you to the Second Life phenomenon so you can literally "see" what the hubbub is all about. After an introduction to Second Life, other virtual reality sites and some "real" business experiences with virtual reality, we will discuss the impact on the qualitative research industry.
